Bio:

Kaitlin Wong is a third-year undergraduate student in biomedical engineering at UC Davis. She is interested in medical device design, data analysis, and improving healthcare accessibility. Cube³’s mission to improve biomedical engineering education is a large reason why she joined the lab. She is excited to contribute to efforts that expand practical experiences outside of the classroom for biomedical engineering students. In Cube³, she is currently collecting and analyzing data. Outside of the lab, Kaitlin is the Mentor Lead in the Bioinnovation Group, which aligns with promoting engineering students’ education. She is also a research assistant incorporating machine learning to diagnose and treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Her community service involvement with R.I.V.E.R. Pediatric Clinic optimizes the design, production, and use of medical devices. Additionally, she is the recruitment analyst for the Alpha Delta Pi chapter at UC Davis.
