Mentored student awards:

Two senior design awards have won monetary awards in design competitions.

• Our GAMIX team (Grace Baird, Avinash Rajamani, Madison Feaver, Isha Bhagavatula, and Xuanbei Pan) captured the coveted Sandia Engineering Design Award out of 139 engineering design teams, returning the award to BME two years in a row: Sandia National Laboratories Honors Students for Innovative Monitor | Biomedical Engineering
• Our Osseostruct team (Celie Cranney, Kelly Berndt, Eddie Chen, Clyde Westrom, and Pedro Maia) finished second in PLASMA Demo Day, a guided program for entrepreneurship. Biomedical Engineering Students Thrive in UC Davis Entrepreneurship Program | Biomedical Engineering
